What they have in common
All four are rows of individual lights, or dots, mounted in a track under the roof edge, controlled from a phone app, with color and white. The differences that matter most to you are the labor warranty, who services the system if the dealer closes, and how the dealer mounts it.
What to ask any dealer
- How long is the labor warranty, and is it in writing?
- Who services the system if your company closes?
- Do you mount to the fascia or soffit, or through the shingles?
- What spacing do you recommend for my house, and why?
- How warm is the warm white, in kelvin, and what's the CRI?
- Where does the power come from, and does any of it need an electrician?
Where we fit
We don't sell any of these four brands, so we have no stake in which one you choose. We install IronPeak node lights ($32 a foot, with IronPeak's 5-year product warranty) and a continuous line with no dots ($100 a foot), plus 2 years on our workmanship. See the warranty and dots vs a continuous line.
